I believe in one God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe that God has a loving plan for each person and each society, and that his
providence can be seen in every person’s daily life and in the life of each society.
I believe that the Second Person of God became a man, was born, died, and rose from the dead. I believe in his Resurrection and Ascension
to the Father in glory. I believe the Second Person of God, Jesus Christ, is the Lord of all creation, of each person, and of every society.
I believe the Lord Jesus, while on earth, assembled his disciples into a visible body called the Church, and that he gave a share of his mission
to his disciples, who would be served and led by Peter and the Apostles, and their successors, until the end of time.
I believe the Lord Jesus after ascending to the Father, sent his Holy Spirit to guide the world and his disciples. The Holy Spirit is the Lord and
Life-giver of the Church, and the guarantor of its connection with Jesus Christ.
I believe the disciple’s relationship with Jesus Christ is marked and intensified by radical encounters with the Lord Jesus and dispensations of
his grace called sacraments. The seven sacraments, as the workings of the Holy Spirit, are visible signs of invisible grace, entrusted to the
Church and celebrated by it until the Lord Jesus returns in glory.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
